The Security Unit requires the services of a Surveillance Officer.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Performs focused surveillance services.
• Performs systems administrator functions for the Unit, doing updates/entries on the Security system, system resets, escalating incidents, provide training and assistance.
• Monitor access and movement in high-risk areas.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Monitors alarm conditions in high-risk areas and reviews footage.
• Adheres to and promotes Company policies and procedures relating to health, safety, security and environment.

QUALIFICATONS
• Grade 12 plus successful completion of second year of accredited Security/ Police Management National Diploma qualification with enrolment/progression towards NQF 6 Diploma in Security / Police Management or equivalent.
• Five (5) years’ relevant experience as Security Officer or equivalent position in a professional security environment.
• Corporate Security experience (professional security services in a well-established set-up), e.g. including CCTV, Access Control and Asset Protection.
• Experience in the Security Section in Namibia Group of Companies (NTD, Namdeb, DBMN) will be an added advantage.
Preference will be given to Namibian citizens and designated persons as prescribed by the Namibian Affirmative Action Act.
