Introduction
Debmarine Namibia requires the services of a Senior Employee Wellness Officer. The successful incumbent will develop, implement and co-ordinate activities to achieve the Company objectives of the Employee Wellness programmes in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
•Implements prevention and care awareness programmes to maintain holistic health of our workforce.
•Provides psychotherapy to the workforce and coordinate relevant medical and other referral services.
•Conducts and coordinates on-site health screening testing.
•Assesses, orders and receives relevant wellness equipment and medical supplies used by the wellness office.
•Develops and promotes Company health programmes to achieve set objectives.
•Conducts research on health-related topics.
•Implements and coordinates the Company’s HIV / AIDS Strategic programme.
•Arranges for the efficient random testing process and reporting thereof.
•Designs and layout of educational material for wellness programmes for distribution and training.
•Coordinates and guides peer educators to facilitate relevant education programmes in the workplace.
•Facilitates, coordinates and conducts training sessions.
•Implements and maintains monitoring and evaluation of systems.
•Implements new knowledge / information by keeping abreast of the latest developments in the employee well-being environment.KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Social Work (preferably Clinical Psychology)
•Valid registration with HPCNA
•3 years’ relevant work experience including psychotherapy and strong administrative skills
•Relevant experience working in a corporate environment will be an added advantage
•Valid code B driver’s licensePreference will be given to Namibian citizens and designated persons as prescribed by the Namibian Affirmative Action Act.
