Job Specifications:

  • Execute programs and policies relating to operations administration and standards, and facility maintenance
  • Determine how to allocate resources and to respond to unanticipated problems
  • Assist in develop and update both standard and emergency response plans or procedures
  • Liaise with Oyster Commercial Manager to formulate objectives and understand requirements
  • Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers ect)
  • Ensure that adequate maintenance work is completed on infrastructure, vehicles, vessels and equipment)
  • Ensure products meets quality standards
  • Enforce health and safety standards
  • Report to Oyster Commercial Manager
  • Obtain growth, mortality and harvest goals

Job Requirements:

  • Preferably an aquaculture or agriculture qualification specializing on animal health and production
  • Minimum 5 years of aquaculture or agriculture production experience
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Effective people management and communication skills
  • Effective administration and time management
  • Preferably a skippers license for vessels up 9m
