PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To manage and control human resource functions within the Company in order to provide a competent workforce that satisfies the Company’s business needs and to ensure the integrity of the human resources system, information and equitable remuneration.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Resource Management
- Consultancy Services
- Management of Human Resources Services
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- B. Degree or Diploma in human resources management or equivalent qualification
- Five (5) years’ experience in the human resources environment of which at least three (3) years should have been spent at Junior management level
- Working knowledge of human resources management processes, HR interventions and human resources planning, understanding of HR issues in a corporate set-up and working knowledge of implementing HR systems and payroll administration
- Coaching and mentoring skills, team building, leadership skills, problem solving skills, planning (short –medium and long term), analytical skills, good interpersonal relations and communication skills
- Self-starting initiatives, emotional maturity/ self-control, assertiveness, goal directness, awareness, independent, inquisitive, stress management and flexibility
