Job Specifications:
The successful candidate would be responsible for the day-to-day management of all farm related projects and activities. The farm manager will be reporting to the GM. The farm is located 320km outside of WHK
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in successfully managing all aspects on a farm
- Staff management skills
- Experience in managing staff welfare situations
- Mechanical knowledge and experience
- Knowledge and experience in working with electricity
- Knowledge and experience in maintenance and construction
- Good understanding and maintenance experience of solar systems
- Strong logistical skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Valid code C – drivers license
- Experience in security and weapons handling
- Experience in all aspects of farm management, animal husbandry, fencing, water installations
- Experience in wildlife management will be a bonus
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Proficiency to communicate effectively in English and Afrikaans
- Good attitude, timekeeping, and the ability to work with people from all backgrounds and a willingness to assist the team when needed.
