purpose:

To manage the development of integrated, innovative media plans and or advertising plans with a view to achieve optimal exposure of the Company brand, its assets and properties

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and disseminate accurate and timely information to all relevant stakeholders throughout the business and broadcast media
  • Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisation
  • Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy, and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy
  • Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes
  • Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions
  • Manages risks in own area of responsibility
  • Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
  • Creates solutions to meet customer demands to deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
  • Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
  • Provide input into the budget and manage and report on budget usage that reflects delivery of planned work within agreed parameters
  • Develop and manage integrated, innovative media plans and processes, ensuring efficient spend and achievement of optimal brand exposure

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualification – Equivalent degree in Communication or Journalism Marketing
  • Experience – 3 to 5 years experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level
