Job Specification:
- Drives sales and new business;
- Compiles and does client reporting and report backs for clients for their investment committee meetings;
- Ensures efficient administration and reporting to clients;
- FIA and AML responsibilities to ensure the legislation requirements are adhered to;
- Client & business compliance packs for FIA, AML & signatories review and updating;
- Ensuring service providers has up to date information e.g. signatories, directors, etc.
- Assisting, updating and carries out due diligence exercises;
- Performs market and competitor analysis;
- Takes responsibility for investigating new initiatives for a particular segment or a particular identified opportunity;
- Does background research, assists in developing a suitable response and conduct viability assessments of a range of potential solutions;
- Compile business case for new initiatives, which includes all business imperatives such as systems and other resources, distribution models, marketing plans, etc;
- Ensures that the approved solution is effectively implemented and refined over medium term after initial launch;
- Conducts presentations to introduce new initiatives and ensures buy-in;
- Any other adhoc requests;
- Assists with management reporting;
- Assists with compliance monitoring and internal and external audits.
Minimum Requirements
- Namibian Citizenship.
- Relevant Business Degree or Diploma with 2-3 years financial and/or investment experience
- Strong technical skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good networking skills
- Computer literacy
- Highly motivated and self-starter
- Well organized and dynamic
- Work under pressure and work independently
