Remuneration and benefits: Minimum (N$247 932) – Maximum (N$371 898)
Market related salary package, Medical Aid, Pension Fund, Housing Allowance/Subsidy, Transport allowance, 35 m3 free water per month and 32 working days leave per annum
Purpose of job:
To plan and direct all activities regarding supervision, maintenance, training, and planning of new extensions of parks and gardens, the nursery, and sports fields in Swakopmund.
Key Performance Areas:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for Supervision of general maintenance;
- Planning and designing of new layouts;
- Supervision / Leadership;
- Procurement functions;
- Control material, tools and equipment;
- Customer Care; and
- Occupational Health and Safety Management (OHSM) at the Workplace.
Requirements and experience:
- Applicants should have Grade 12 (pass mark of 20 points over 5 subjects which must include an E symbol in English),
- A National Diploma in either Horticulture or Landscaping,
- Five (5) years relevant experience,
- Two (2) years must be in a Supervisory capacity; and
- A valid Code C1 Driver’s License with a valid Professional Authorization, Category G, P, OR
- Grade 12 (pass mark of 20 points over 5 subjects which must include an E symbol in English),
- Seven (7) years horticulture and landscaping experience of which,
- Two (2) years must be in a Supervisory capacity; and
- A valid Code C1 Driver’s License with a valid Professional Authorization, Category G, P.
