Introduction |
Debmarine Namibia requires the services of a Planning Clerk, reporting to the Asset Management Officer. The primary role of this position is to support the vessel by executing SAP planned maintenance, clerical and administrative duties in order for the vessel to achieve the required Engineering Availability and Utilisation. The Planning Clerk will be a seagoing position.
The incumbent will be required to spend a minimum of 28 days at sea followed by a maximum of 28 days ashore and will be required to undertake the following activities: |

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
•SAP PM Equipment Administration : -Print and distribute Planned Maintenance Orders to various Work Centre’s onboard the vessel. -Capture Notification Feedback in SAP PM System. -Collect and capture daily run hours in SAP PM System. -Runs outstanding notification and planned maintenance order reports for AMO, to ensure follow up of outstanding work. -Assist with follow ups of overdue awaiting spares, repairs ashore and awaiting contractor planned maintenance orders. -Maintain PM master data as directed by the Asset Management Officer. •Create SAP PM notifications and MS sharepoint tasks for all maintenance requirements. •Minute weekly planning meetings and print graphs measuring team maintenance performance. •Minute and update weekly shutdown and wash-up meetings. •Assist AMO/AMA collating data-packs for repair ashore equipment. •Keep and maintain an accurate filing system and technical library for any information required by the vessel. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
•Grade 12 (20 POINTS IN 5 SUBJECTS) Preference will be given to Namibian citizens and designated persons as prescribed by the Namibian Affirmative Action Act.
