Key areas of responsibility:
- Comply with RISK policies, practices, and procedures
- Ensure that all statutory requirements are in place and managed
- Ensure implementation, monitoring, and control of maintenance strategies of the process plant and the vehicles (light, commercial and earthmoving).
- Master Schedule – Takes accountability for the implementation and maintenance of the plant and vehicle maintenance plans
- Assist with the preparation of the Engineering budget
- Co-ordinates and control spares, critical stock, and component control requirements.
- Backlog Management.
- Shut down planning.
Qualifying requirements:
- Recognized Trade Diploma (N3 and higher) – Fitter/Diesel Mechanic / Electrical / C&I/Millwright
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience in the industry
- Excellent knowledge of Maintenance of various mechanical equipment in a processing plant essential.
- Excellent computer skills with minimum 4 years of working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Projects, Onkey/Syspro/SAP, or related Maintenance systems
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Valid CODE BE driver’s license.
