Qualifications & Requirements:
· Minimum of two (2) years previous experience in a similar position.
· Minimum Standard 10 (Grade 12), with the required experience to fulfil the required accounting functions.
Main Requirements:
· Good computer literacy skills
· Highly developed analytical skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills.
· Uncompromising integrity and ability to maintain a high level of compliance and corporate good governance.
· Good knowledge of Accpac.
· Good knowledge of Excel.
· Job accuracy and neatness of great importance.
· Need to be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Must be prepared to work overtime when necessary.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
· Daily EFT payments.
· Process EFT and cheque payments in cashbook.
· Process Cashbook entries into Accpac on a daily basis.
· Bank reconciliations.
· Daily Banking.
· Compile banking summary on a daily basis
· Daily credit card reconciliation.
· Assist with completing of month end.
· Deal with ad hoc functions for the Accounts department as and when required
