PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Provides leadership to the whole Industrial and mining division, maximises capital assets in the division and reduces operating expenses wherever possible. Oversees the operations of the Industrial BU functions. Responsible for maximizing return on investment, profit and loss, daily operations, planning, development and implementation of marketing plans for both short- and long-term growth. Holds the responsibility for improving efficiency and increasing departmental profits while managing the business unit’s overall operations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Industrial and Mining business development, build and maintain relations with clients for sustainable growth
- Improve Business Unit Performance by evaluating and improving operations and financial performance
- Set policies and processes
- Formulate Strategy by developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols
- Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent service
- Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to management
- Manage the company’s risk through identification, implementation, and maintenance of risk control measures to minimize liability
- Securing compliance and implement best practices
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
- Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Management
- Minimum 6 years related experience in the industrial/mining industry.
- 3 years managerial experience
