PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To manage all events and conferencing related activities within O&L Leisure through maintaining our organization’s image, security , client loyalty, amplifying our O&L Brand -to-guest experience to maximize revenue opportunities for the Company.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Liaises with all operating departments and relevant HOD’s to ensure that all pre- and post-function is communicated in an effective and efficient manner
- Share accountability for conferencing and Events cost control and the related results
- Ensuring that standards are maintained in Banqueting venues and outlets at all times in relation to service delivery and hygiene requirements
- Compiling of event information sheets in accordance with Company Policy
- Inspect event facilities to ensure that they conform to customer requirements
- Plan and develop programs, agendas, budgets, and services according to customer requirements and business operations
- Conduct post-event evaluations
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, Sales or Events Management.
- Minimum of 4 years related experience in Events and Conferencing
- Experience in the Hospitality and Tourism industry an added advantage
- Advertising agency experience an added advantage
- Good Negotiation skills and Project management skills
- Valid Driver’s license
