CUSTOMS OPERATOR – WALVIS BAY
Position Summary: Responsibility for handling of customs clearing operations for clients and all internal operational departments.
EDUCATION: Grade 12; vocational training in Logistics (at least 2-year course) advantageous
WORK EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years’ experience in customs clearing operations
HARD SKILLS: Logistics industry knowledge, local market knowledge, local Customs regulations knowledge, customs clearing license, Asycuda skills, computer literacy, driving license, fluency in English language (written & oral)
SOFT COMPETENCIES: Planning & organization skills, interpersonal communication skills, process-orientation, attention to detail, customer-orientation
