PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Incumbent is responsible for ensuring that Hangana’s current and future business operations and procedures comply with legislation, legal regulations, corporate governance and internal policies, by reviewing company policy documents, proactively assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of controls, managing and overseeing control systems/activities, performing regular audits and providing guidance on compliance matters; in order to ensure adherence/compliance to regulations in all aspects and levels of the business.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Compliance Assessment & Risk Identification in line with applicable legal requirements and frameworks
- Risk and Compliance custodian – Compilation and Management of CRMP
- Auditing in line with national industry and legally required frameworks
- Monitoring and reporting – evaluation of internal controls and suggest process improvements
- Compliance developments and internal compliance culture entrenchment in line with internal and external regulatory requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors’ degree in finance with legal knowledge
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience of which must be Audit related
- SAP Experience (preferred)
