NUST SATELLITE CAMPUS IN EENHANA
The establishment of the Eenhana satellite campus is in line with achieving the strategic objective of maintaining a local presence, extending the national footprint and international reach. The
Eenhana campus will host at least 60 programmes in areas of agriculture, business management, computing and informatics, horticulture, logistics and supply chain management, journalism and media
technology, natural resource management, STEM and Technical Vocational Education, and Training (TVET). The campus will offer a minimum of fifty short courses over ten years. The enrolment numbers
for the study programmes are expected to start with around 1 000 students and are projected to grow to over 6 000 in ten years. The campus is located in the Ohangwena region of Namibia around 20km
outside Eenhana town. Eenhana is connected to the road network and has a well-developed infrastructure. The campus seeks to recruit for the following vacant positions:

Assistant Maintenance Officer

Requirements
A Trade Diploma (NQF Level 6) in the General Construction Trades (Electrical, Mechanical etc.) or related qualification with at least four years in a Large Scale Construction Industry. Excellent analytical
and problem-solving skills; ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed. Good English (verbal and written) communication and general technical skills. Ability to plan maintenance
schedules for building systems.

Job Description
Evaluate systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed; assess building systems to plan work assignments and project schedule; develop maintenance procedures
and schedules; ensure maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and promptly and assist with campus budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects; maintain campus security and
adherence to all rules and regulations as well as safeguarding the health and safety of all personnel and property on campus; attend and process all incidents and emergencies; available to work on
weekends if required, and perform any other duty as may be assigned from time to time by supervisor.
