PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Responsible for the assistance and care of the stock on site in order to conform to accepted practices and to achieve production standards in conjunction with the Farm Manager and to make sure that subordinates understand and comply with the proper management practices during their shifts on site to achieve the production standards as required
KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance
- Assist with staff related documentation
- Ensure houses are in good condition
- Operate alarm
- Ensure that bio security procedures and rules are adhered to at all times
- Do security checks
- Recording of eggs in and daily production
- Assist with regular inspections of assets
- Report any damages of equipment to Supervisor / Superiors
- Perform ad hoc tasks given by Supervisor / Superiors
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE :
- Grade 12 (NQF 2)
- Two (2) years relevant working experience in the Poultry Industry will be highly advantageous
- Namibian citizen
- Proficient in English, being bilingual will be advantageou
- Able to work shifts, weekends, overtime, Sundays and on Public Holidays
